Recovery Commander 3.0.1.3 is a program that will restore your system to boot again. If your system is not booting properly you can restore it, if you previously saved an image of your system using Recovery Commander. That can be done with Windows System Restore. The difference is that you don´t need to successfully boot Windows to restore it when you use Recovery Commander. The program has only three tabs: Recover, Maintain and Advanced. The Recover tab allows you to create, restore or manage checkpoints. "Maintain" leads you to schedule recovery tasks or view the Recovery Command log. "Advanced" will let you track and view Windows error messages, create a bootable rescue CD with the necessary files to rescue your system, turn on SmartCheck (an utility that checks your hard drives for early alerting about errors) or download software updates. By using Recovery Commander´s Rescue CD you will be able to fix partitioning problems, damaged boot.ini files and text configuration files problems. The program will create a CD or DVD ISO image that you can burn on a blank CD or DVD. If you boot with that disc in your unit, the system will boot and launch Recovery Commander to fix your system boot.
